Some dude from yahoo answers had a cool question. Now, its obvious he hasnt taken my secret quiz, but ignore that, and focus on his question, and how I answer it.
Question: I have a friend who is relatively successful career wise, but has not gotten laid in like 5 years. On the other hand, I have a cousin who is a total bum—works a dead end job, and I think he lives at home at 35 years old, yet he always seems to have a pretty girlfriend. My question is, how common, is it for a man to be successful in his career but unscusseful with women or vice versa?
Answer:
Come lean in closer, I have a secret to reveal to you… Most guys who are succesful with women are like that. In fact, go and find some more guys who are surrounded by women. What you will find is that most of them have this super-extreme care-free attitude. They don’t even care what happens tommorow, or if they’ll be able to pay the rent next month. They just… don’t care.
Why is this? Well, there are two reasons:
1) Evolutionary psychology tells us… that everything men do is to attract or get women. Building a career, getting a car, home, house, getting successful in life and having ambitions and drives. From this perspective… A guy who stumbles into success with women “has it made”. He doesn’t have a need to impress or win over women with gifts, dates or his wealth and accomplishments. Why? Because he already has the success without it. So he can just glide by, and live life just meeting basic demands. Now, this perspective explains why men who are already succesful with women have less of an incentive to get success in other areas.
2) Girls justa wanna have fun… These guys who are carefree and all over the place are just fun to be around. She feels she can be herself and he won’t judge her. He doesn’t care. She can be her wildest self around him. She can be the girl she doesn’t show to anyone else for fear of judgement… And he doesn’t care, he’s just there and fun.
